McGuire Receives Endorsement, “A” Rating from NRA

HENRICO, VA – Today, Delegate John McGuire (R-HD56) announced he has received an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA) along with their full endorsement.

“While the radical left in Richmond has focused on suppressing our 2nd Amendment rights, I’ve spent my last two terms in office fighting to defend our Commonwealth’s right to bear arms. Americans are fortunate to live in a nation built on the foundations of freedom where ordinary citizens are trusted with one of our most extraordinary rights. It’s an honor to receive the NRA’s endorsement and their A rating. When it comes to our right to keep and bear arms, the Constitution is crystal clear; our 2nd Amendment rights shall not be infringed.”

Delegate McGuire has not once waivered to the radical left’s gun grabbing agenda during his time in the Virginia House of Delegates and has even offered up several pieces of legislation that would’ve granted more access for gun owners to practice their 2nd Amendment rights. Unfortunately, the radical left, one party rule in Richmond has stopped any of his commonsense legislation from ever leaving committee.
